Educational Effectiveness

The Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary & College is committed to providing theological education and ministry training of the highest caliber. We carefully monitor and regularly assess the educational effectiveness of each degree program. Below are some of the common measures used by seminaries and Bible colleges to demonstrate success of student learning. Additional information is available upon request to the Academic Dean.

Over the last 10 years approximately 70% of entering seminary students and 64% of entering college students completed the degree programs in which they were enrolled (or are still enrolled).

Over that same period of time, 83% of our BCMin graduates, 94% of our MA graduates, and 87% of our MDiv graduates found placement related to their degrees or continued their education in further studies.

Additionally, graduating students are asked for their feedback on their experience at CSBS&C. Here are the results on a few of the questions from the last five years (2008-2012):

My experience at CSBS&C has helped me grow in my relationship to the Lord.

My time here has prepared me for Christian ministry.

I would recommend this school to a friend.
